Hello everyone! Well I finally picked up my copy of ROF and it looks awesome. Gonna take some practice but Im using the minimum of whats required so Ive got to get a new graphics card. My memory is only half of what its minimum is so its a little choppy. Ill be up flying soon as I can. Thanks

Cool Nidan!
It can be kind of a resource hog. I have a fairly decent system – nothing cutting edge, but pretty good – and I have to dial back my graphics a bit. The nice thing about this game graphically is that even at low settings it still looks really realistic.
I still maintain that the best part of the game is the flight models and actual game play. This is probably the best sim I've ever flown when it comes to giving you the feeling that you're actually flying.
Do you have a Track IR setup?
Cheers!

Hi Amish! No I dont and what is that? Im still trying to figure out how to use skins on planes that I got from resourse link here? Setting up joystick was a "chore" for me. Speaking of graphics Ive got a 250w power supply I can pick up a card with 512 or 1GB for a 300W. Would it be wise to upgrade power suppy or what will be affected if I dont. I am running 2GB of RAM but gonna upgrade that later. Thanks for your time

To run the latest graphics cards, you'll want at least a 500W power supply – they can be picked up fairly inexpensively if you watch for deals at places like Newegg.
To install the skins (I'll add instructions on the resources page) in ROF, copy the DDS file to the appropriate folder in the Skins directory. For example, the Fokker Dr.1 skins go in data\graphics\Skins\FokkerDr1
Be sure the right DVII skins go in the right folder or they will look funny. The DVII F skins go in the FokkerD7F directory, and the Fokker DVII skins go in the FokkerD7 directory,

Salute, Nidan!
TrackIR is a MUST HAVE for any flight simmer nowadays. Check our their website below:

It's incredibly easy to install and use, although it does take some getting used to at first. That being said, however, I remember acclimating to it within thirty minutes after installation no sweat.
